Diablo 4 Barbarian Classes
After the Diablo 4 Sorceress guide and Diablo 4 Legendary Items guide, we’re back with another class overview. This time we’re bringing you the ultimate Diablo IV Barbarian Class Overview.
This Diablo 4 Barbarian guide will cover a lot of aspects of the class. But, if you live under the rocks and don’t know who barbarians are, then here is a brief…
Class Introduction
The Barbarian is the strongest person in the world, and he or she is also very good at using all kinds of weapons in battle. He lets out scary war cries and slams the ground hard to throw off hordes that are coming to attack.
Barbarians are fun to play because they have fast-paced action and a lot of ways to change how they look. Their skills are powered by a resource called "Fury," which builds up while they're in battle and slowly goes away when they're not. All Barbarian skills deal Physical damage by default. (If you need Diablo 4 gold when leveling Barbarian, you can buy it with low price and fast delivery at SSEGold.)
Attributes
The Barbarian gets the following from his or her four core attributes:
-Strength: Skill Damage (10% per 100), Armor (1 each)
-Intelligence: All Resistances (5% per 100)
-Willpower: Resource Gain (10% per 100), Healing Received (10% per 100), Overpower Damage (25% per 100).
-Dexterity: Chance of a Critical Hit (2% per 100) and Chance of a Dodge (2.5% per 100).
Strength is thought to be the most important trait because it increases the damage you do. Dexterity and Willpower are also useful because they help you attack and defend, but Intelligence does almost nothing.
Some items let you roll for stat bonuses, and later on, Paragon boards let you stack the right stats for your character. You may also find hidden Altars of Lilith in the open world. These Altars give all of your characters a permanent bonus.
Equipment & Skrill Tree
The barbarian is one of the few people who can wear FOUR WEAPONS at the same time:
-2x Two-Handed Weapons (Bludgeoning Maces and Slashing Swords/Polearms/Axes) and
-Dual-Wielding One-Handed Weapons (Slashing Swords/Axes/Maces)
They can switch between them depending on the ability they're using, and the Barbarian's Arsenal System lets you choose which weapon applies to each ability.
The rolled effects of each Weapon are always used, but in the Arsenal System, the raw Damage per Second (DPS) of skill is only affected by the attacking Weapon. In other words, your main weapon does the damage, and the others are "stat sticks."
One last benefit to having so many Diablo IV items is that you get more Legendaries. Having these extra powers equipped can be very useful and may give the Barbarian an advantage as Diablo 4's itemization pool grows.
Leveling up and the Renown system are both ways to get more skill points. As you spend more points, you can open up more and more skill categories. Each active skill can be leveled up to five times or more with the help of items.
Each rank increases the skill's power (usually by 10% of its base value) or shortens its cooldown by 5%. After you unlock a skill, you can add another point to it and then choose one of two upgrades to make it more specialized.
There are also passives all over the skill tree that can be added to certain skill clusters. They give small bonuses to damage, defense, or utility under certain conditions, and they help round out your build by moving it further in the direction you want. All passives have 3 ranks and usually scale in a linear way.
Cluster Passives

Ultimate Passives

Unconstrained
Increase the maximum duration of Berserk by 5 seconds and its damage bonus by 25%.
Walking Arsenal
When you use a Two-Handed Bludgeoning, Two-Handed Slashing, or Dual Wielded Weapon to deal direct damage, the damage you do is increased by 10% for 6 seconds. When all three damage bonuses are active, your damage goes up by an extra 15%.
Unbridled Rage
Core Skills deal 135% more damage but cost 1000% more. Bloody Wounds When you kill an enemy who is Bleeding, an explosion happens that does 12% Bleeding damage over 5 seconds.
Strengths
Tremendous Damage- The core skills of a barbarian are very powerful, especially when combined with their other skills and buffs.
Berserking- The amazing Berserking buff is only available to the Barbarian class in Diablo 4. It gives them 25% more damage and 30% faster movement.
Quick Movement- The Barbarian has many ways to move around and active and passive ways to increase their base Movement Speed.
Range DPS- Can deal damage from afar or while moving. With skills like "Upheaval," "Whirlwind," and "Call of the Ancients," the Barbarian has a wide range of DPS options.
Very Tank- With abilities like Challenging Shout and bonuses like Fortify, Barbarians are very hard to take down.

Weaknesses
Fury Dependent- When you're not in a fight, your Fury goes down over time, and the powerful Core Skills use it up quickly.
Long waiting times- All of your Shouts and Ultimate Skills have long cooldowns. Even though there are ways to make these less of a problem, they still stop you from doing as much damage in longer fights.
Close Combat- Most Barbarian builds are based on melee, and some Elite and Boss abilities can be hard to avoid when you're close to them.
